Wendy's Heisman                       Deadline October 17, 2018

Wendy’s High School Heisman is looking for all types of high-achieving seniors from more than 29,000 public and private high schools within the U.S. We consider young men and women who participate in a wide range of sports as well as school and community activities.

 

Horatio Alger Scholarship                             Deadline October 25, 2018

As one of the nation's largest need-based college scholarship programs in the country, the Horatio Alger Scholarship Programs specifically assist high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. While many programs are directed primarily to recognizing academic achievement or leadership potential, the Horatio Alger Association seeks students who have exhibited determination, integrity, and perseverance in overcoming adversity, as well as have critical financial need. 

 

Coca Cola Scholars                                    Deadline October 31, 2018

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 30th class in 2018, the Foundation has provided over 6,000 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $66 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.

 

Hagan Scholarship                     Due Date November 15, 2018

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, designed to provide each recipient with the opportunity to graduate college debt free. Recipients must graduate from a public high school located in a county in the United States having fewer than 50,000 residents. The scholarship provides up to $6,000 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters; 622 Hagan Scholars from 37 states currently attend 236 colleges and universities.

 

Soil & Water Conservation Society Show Me Chapter Scholarship  Due Date emailed or postmarked by November 26, 2018 (Monday after Thanksgiving). Email is preferred.

The SWCS Scholarship provides financial assistance to students wishing to pursue studies with a natural resource conservation orientation at properly accredited colleges or universities.  One $2,000 scholarship is available, you need not be a member of the SWCS to apply, however; you  must major in a conservation or natural resource-related field such as soil science, land use planning, forestry, wildlife management, fisheries, agricultural engineering, hydrology, rural sociology, agronomy, water management, agricultural economics, biology, agricultural education, or related environmental protection or resource management curricula.

 

AXA Achievement Scholarship              December 14, 2018 or until 10,000 applications have been submitted

The AXA Achievementsm Scholarship offers college scholarships of $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000 to high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace. Scholarship winners are known as AXA Achievers. They are ethnically and economically diverse, but they share these qualities: ambition and drive; determination to set and reach goals; respect for self, family and community; ability to succeed in college. The scholarship is sponsored by the AXA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of AXA US.

 

Burger King Scholarship Program        Opens October 15, 2018     Due Date December 15, 2018

The BURGER KING Scholars program assists employees, employees' spouses or domestic partners, employees' children and high school seniors in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada in continuing their education. To date, the program has awarded more than $35 million in scholarships to more than 33,000 students. Last year alone, $3.7 million in scholarships were awarded to more than 3,400 deserving students.

 

Lead Roster Scholarship     Due December 15, 2018

GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship      Due January 4, 2019

Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and board. In addition, Scholars are invited to participate in a special awards program and receive ongoing leadership-development support.

 

United States JCI Senate Foundation   Due January 11, 2019

From September to November of each year, each JCI Senate state organization (or foundation) distributes to schools and boards of education throughout their state the necessary application forms for determination of the recipients of scholarship grants. The deadline for return of the completed application forms to the state chairperson is January 11, 2019. If your state is not listed, you are not eligible.   Do not submit the application to any address on the web page except those under the State Scholarship listing section (packages submitted to the wrong address will not be forwarded). DAR Scholarship(S)                  Deadline February 15, 2019

The NSDAR awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of degrees in diverse disciplines including history, law, nursing, and education.The DAR Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to qualified applicants regardless of race, religion or sex. All applicants must be United States citizens. All multi-year scholarships, typically renewable up to four years, must be for consecutive years of attendance at an accredited college or university in the United States.

 

Project 21                  Deadline March 1, 2019

Project 21 2019 Scholarship Program provides students an opportunity to disseminate their message by writing an article or creating a poster or video addressing the issue of underage gambling. Project 21 Scholarships will be awarded for 2019 as follows: One $2,500.00 First Prize, and Three $1,500.00 Second Prizes.

Missouri Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship                   Deadline postmarked by September 30, 2018

Since 1997, Missouri Cattlemen Foundation has awarded 490 students with over $490,000 in scholarship funds!  The scholarship program is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students.  Each scholarship is valued at $1,000, this year the top two finalists will receive an additional $2,000.
