All tardies and attendance detentions MUST be made up by Saturday, December 21 to avoid failing the semester by attendance.
There will be an NHS meeting on Tuesday, December 17th during Indian Minutes in Mrs. Winders' room. Please make plans to attend. The officers will meet at 7:30 AM in Mrs. Winders' room on Friday, December 13th.
The ACT will take place this Saturday, December 14 in the HS Cafeteria, test begins at 8, doors lock 7:50. Please be on time, with your admission ticket.
There will be an NJHS meeting during IM on Tuesday, December 17th in Mrs. Robinson's room. Check in with your IM teacher first. All members need to attend.
English 1 students, please return the novel Speak to Mrs. Winders this week.
A+ Tutors please remember to turn in 2nd quarter log sheets to the Guidance office.
HS STUCO would like to invite all students, faculty, and staff to participate in dress up days for the holiday season. Thursday, December 19 is Polar Express Day which means wear your PJs. Friday, December 19 is Ugly Sweater Day.
We will have a Quiz Bowl Christmas party on Wednesday, Dec. 18th.
The district pays for each student to take the ACT one time during their high school career. If you would like to take your free district paid ACT this year, please sign up outside Mrs. Reading’s door by Friday, December 13. The ACT will be given in either late February or March. In order to participate, you must be a sophomore, junior, or senior. If you have already used your one free district paid ACT, do not sign up again. Please see Mrs. Reading or Mrs. Utterback if you have questions.
Play auditions for "Little Shop of Horrors" will be December 18th at the Elementary from 3:30-5:00. This is open to students grades 7th-12th. If you plan to audition, but can't make this date you need to let Mrs. Hanson or Aubrey Bunge know ASAP.
Mrs. Pafford will be holding a Saturday Detention on Saturday, December 14 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Doors will lock at 8:00. Students need to sign up on the list across from the office.

Friday, December 13
8G/8B away at Montgomery Co. at 5:30 pm. Bus leaves at 4:10.
Saturday, December 14
Saturday Detention from 8:00 am to 11:00.
Speech Tournament to Sedalia. Bus leaves at 9:15 am.
Monday, December 16
JVB/VG/VB basketball at home against North Callaway at 5:00 pm. Gate Duty: A Rost/A Noel
Tuesday, December 17
VG/VB basketball away at the JWCC Rumble on the River vs Unity at 7:00 pm. Bus leaves at 4:45.
