Character Word for April is Tenacious

All Band and Choir members need to report to Mr. C’s room during IM.

Today’s renaissance cards will be for Gold and White.

Attention High School students: We are happy to announce that we will be offering 3 hours of Family and Consumer Science courses for next year.  The sign-up for these will be outside Ms. Waller's door.  The previous course request will still be looked at to set your schedules for next year but if you would like to take a course from 9-12 grades next year, and be able to become active in FCCLA again next year, we have our opportunity.  Course Descriptions will be also provided so that you know what you will be signing up for, please provide your name under the course you are interested in taking, byTuesday April 25th.  Ms. Waller is attempting to finalize the schedule now!

ATTENTION 9th and 10th graders: IF you would like to take ACT Prep a Sign up list will be posted with the other new courses for FACS.  Please even if you stated you were interested earlier please sign up now.  Great class to help you get increases in the ACT works on both English/Reading and Math/Science Reasoning.  Thinking about a rigorous college course load then ACT Prep is a great idea.

HS STUCO JUNIORS AND SENIORS:  If you are interested in helping at the Grandparents' breakfast at the elementary on May 5th, please see Mrs. Robinson or Mackenzie Kurz asap.

The Grandparents Day at elementary is May 5.  Mrs. Robinson

Due to District track the FFA Banquet has been moved to Sunday, May 7th at 5:30 pm. Dinner will be provided. All students please let SJ know the approximate number of people you may bring to get an idea for food.

FFA officer interviews will be Wednesday, April 26th at 5:00 pm. If you are interested please pick up an officer application from SJ.

Band and Choir Members the February Fundraiser Money is due immediately.  Please turn funds into Mr. C.

Seniors, Please let the Guidance Office know about any outside(college) scholarships you have been awarded.  These will be announced at the Awards Night on Thursday, May 18.

Seniors, the final Scholarship Opportunities have been added.  Please check the web and due dates.  There are several scholarships due in the next week.

The Junior High will begin MAP testing Tuesday, April 25 1st through 3rd hour and 5th and 6th hour.  Students will be testing throughout the building.  Bells will be turned off. Please do not use your locker between 1st through 3rd hour and between 5thand 6th hour. During passing times, all students need to be respectful of those that are testing and keep the halls as quiet as possible.  Mr. McCurdy’s classes will be held in the MOVIP lab, with the exception of 3rd hour.  Mrs. McCurdy’s 3rd hour will go to Mrs. Reading’s room. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Class Officer/Student Council Applications are on the ledge of the office window for those 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders who would like to be a CLASS OFFICER next year.  Completed applications are due by May 5th and elections will follow soon after in your class meetings in May.  Mrs. Pafford's signature/approval should be on the bottom of the application and all applicants should be in GOOD STANDING.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Robinson.
