Burger King McLamore Foundation    Opens October 15, due December 15, 2017

Must have at least a 2.5 GPA to be eligible.  Recipients based on work experience, extra-curricular activities and/or community service.

 

Mizzou Incoming Freshman Alumni Scholars Program     December 15, 2017

Students applying to the Alumni Scholars Program must:
Be an incoming freshman or transfer student who has been accepted to the University of Missouri.  Rank in the upper 20% of your high school graduating class OR have an ACT score of 26 or higher. Remain enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester.

 

ACT Student Champion Scholarship     December 31, 2017

The ACT College and Career Readiness Student Champion is tenacious and persistent, no matter the challenge, and is prepared for life after high school with a goal in mind and a plan in place. A student who has overcome challenges and can articulate education and career actions, students must have a composite ACT score of a 22 on a single test date or 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale, preference given to underrepresented or first-generation college students.

 

College Covered Scholarship                Due December 31, 2017

This is an on-line scholarship search site that is offering a $2,500 scholarship, no purchase necessary to enter.  This site also offers tips and resources to use when applying for scholarships.

 

Missouri DAR Scholarships      Jan 1, 2018

The Missouri Daughters of the American Revolution offer several scholarship opportunities for those pursuing a degree in higher education.  Make sure you read all guidelines before submitting and each scholarship requires a separate completed application.

 

Reagan Foundation Scholarship     January 4, 2018
The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program honors the legacy and character of our
nation's 40th President by rewarding college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary
leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education.
Through the generous support of GE, this national program annually awards $10,000 renewable
scholarships to numerous students.

 

United States JCI Senate Foundation   January 5, 2018

From September to November of each year, each JCI Senate state organization (or foundation) distributes to schools and boards of education throughout their state the necessary application forms for determination of the recipients of scholarship grants. The deadline for return of the completed application forms to the state chairperson is January 5, 2018. If your state is not listed, you are not eligible.   Do not submit the application to any address on the web page except those under the State Scholarship listing section (packages submitted to the wrong address will not be forwarded). Additional information is included in the Application instructions.

 

Epsilon Sigma Alpha Scholarship      February 1, 2018

Various amounts- Applications must be completed on line with a February 1, 2018 deadline.  Please take time to visit this website and read through the Missouri scholarship listing(s) to see what is available and what you qualify for.  Last year, many of these scholarships went unfulfilled due to lack of applications.  There are monies available, if you take the time to just look.

 

Westlake Scholarship Program             Due February 1, 2018

This scholarship awards college tuition, fees, books and supplies for 2018-19 year.  Must be a Missouri resident, maintain at least a 2.5 GPA and have a family adjusted income of $50,000 or less

 

National FFA Scholarship                  February 8, 2018

2.7 Million in Scholarship monies available. Must be a high school senior or currently enrolled in college, be less than 23 years old, a current FFA member unless otherwise stated, have or create an FFA.org account (see Mr. Stuedle if you are having issues logging in)  Apply online.  Application closes at 11:59 p.m., EST. on February 8, 2018.  Only one application is necessary for submission, which will let you be considered for all scholarships whose criteria you meet.    Also, there are scholarships for non-FFA members as well on the site. 

 

Missouri Bankers Foundation                            Due March 9, 2018

MBA established the Missouri Bankers Foundation in 1985 to provide funding for college scholarships for high school students planning to pursue banking-related college degrees. The foundation solicits and manages investments and distributes funds to support continuing education for Missouri bankers and students preparing for a career in the banking industry.  ** The John Rodgers Scholarship, for students in Banking Regions 1&2(we are in Region 2) Students should be planning to enroll in a full-time course of study leading to a major in a field related to banking.  The application must be signed by an officer of a Missouri Bankers Association Member.

 

Arch City Granite & Marble, Inc.       May 30, 2018

Awards an annual $1,000  scholarship in order to give back to the community. Arch City wants to give a helping hand to a deserving student from a lower income family from Missouri and Illinois.

 

Groth Law Scholarship      July 31, 2018

The Attorney’s at Groth and Associates have spent years in school learning how to help you in different aspects of law ranging from personal injury to business law. They understand the stresses of life and want to lend a hand outside of their normal duties.  Their time in school has helped them all understand the importance of education. It takes hard work and perseverance to earn an education and they would like to reward you for your hard work by offering a scholarship to relieve a bit of the financial stress that education can bring. The scholarship awarded will be for $1,000 to one student to use towards furthering their education.  Must have 3.0 + GPA, 500 word essay about difficulties and hardships you have had to personally overcome

Missouri Cattlemen Foundation   September 30, 2017

Applicants must be a senior with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and a member of the Missouri Junior Cattlemen’s Association or their parent/guardian must be a member.

 

Wendy’s High School Heisman    Phase 1 due October 2, 2017

Wendy’s High School Heisman is looking for all types of high-achieving seniors from more than 29,000 public and private high schools within the U.S. We consider young men and women who participate in a wide range of sports as well as school and community activities.

 

Horatio Alger Scholarship   October 25, 2017

Must be enrolled full time as a high school senior in the US, progressing towards graduation in the spring/summer 2018 with plans to enter college in the fall following graduation.  Must demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income), be involved in co-curricular and community service activities, display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity.  Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.

 

Coca Cola Scholars   October 31, 2017

150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year.  Applications can be submitted online.

 

MASFAP Scholarship  October 31, 2017

The Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel (MASFAP) is dedicated to serving students and opening avenues to access the benefits of higher education and advocating for the maintenance of high ethical standards in the financial aid profession. The Hagan Scholarship Foundation    Opens September 15, due November 15, 2017

The Hagan Scholarship is a nation-wide, need based, merit scholarship for rural students who will require financial assistance to attend college. These students will graduate from a public high school located in a county in the United States having fewer than 50,000 residents. Three hundred fifty scholarships can be awarded each year. Hagan Scholars attend one hundred ninety four colleges and universities.

 

Elk’s National Foundation Scholarship   November 27, 2017

Missouri Soil & Water Scholarship   November 27, 2017

This scholarship is for students who attend/graduated from an approved program of study in Missouri.  The student need not be a SWCS member.  Applicants must be in their senior year of high school, or in a full-time undergraduate academic study.  They must major in a conservation or natural resource-related field such as soil science, land use planning, forestry, wildlife management, fisheries, agricultural engineering, hydrology, rural sociology, agronomy, water management, agricultural economics, biology, agricultural education, or related environmental protection or resource management curricula.  Applicants must attend, or plan to attend, a college or university that is accredited.
